The physical Sunshower Communications library is an off grid, solar powered, cyclone proof structure built onsite at Solar Village. There is a large multi use deck and an enclosed space, soon to be office and living area. Sunshower Communications library is a knowledge generating and exchanging clearing house set up with a rich continuum of ecological thinking whilst rooted within and reflecting the geographical context of the top end.

The Sunshower Communications Library is monument finally completed after Strider passed away. His last civic work was to be the construction of a solid cyclone bunker/ library. Strider was a consummate free­thinker, and powerful writer with an unwavering level of commitment to diverse causes focusing on building a better and more sustainable world.
